This illustrated program tells the story of the trolley car, from its beginnings as a horse-drawn wagon or stagecoach, to a modern, electric-powered trolley. You’ll see the many forms this evolving form of transportation took over the years, from the 1850’s to the 1950’s. Most of the cars shown are from the USA, but a few are from other countries.
