Grab your adventure hats and explore the libraries of the Berks County Public Libraries System!
Kicking off alongside National Library Card Sign-up Month, public libraries in Berks County are challenging card holders to visit the 19 primary libraries and 4 branches of the Library System to complete a Passport Challenge booklet for a chance to win awesome prizes. Receive “stamps” at each location and learn more about what Berks libraries have to offer.
Challenge requirements:
- One booklet per patron. Make sure to list the participant's name on completed booklets.
- Visit a System library location near you to grab a Passport Challenge booklet.
- Present a Berks County Public Libraries card to be scanned at System libraries in order to receive a stamp for that location. If you don't currently have a Berks library card, you can sign up at any location for free!
- Once you collect stamps for each tier level (outlined below), you'll receive a prize ticket to complete and submit for one of three regular raffle prizes.
- Collect stamps from all 19 primary library locations and submit your Passport Challenge booklet for a chance to with the $400 grand prize.
- Stamps do not need to be collected in alphabetical order. Make sure to check each library's hours of operation before stopping by.
- The deadline to submit all prize tickets/passport booklets for the Passport Challenge is Saturday, November 30.
Prize Ticket Tier Levels
- 5 primary library locations = one regular entry ticket
- 10 primary library locations = one regular entry ticket
- 15 primary library locations = one regular entry ticket
- 4 branch library locations = one regular entry ticket
- Visit all19 primary library locations = one grand prize entry ticket
