Late in her father’s life, Yvonne Caputo’s father told her a quirky, funny, off-the-wall story about being a navigator in a B-24 during WWII while they were on their weekly phone call. It was so intriguing that on the next call, she asked him to start at the beginning. How did he get into the war? Flying with Dad: A Daughter. A Father. And the Hidden Gifts of His Stories from WWII.
In Dying with Dad, Yvonne shares how she became comfortable talking about death and dying with her dad, and how they made those conversations legal.
