Meeting Room

Muhlenberg Community Library (MCL) has two (2) rooms intended for library-sponsored activities. When not in use, these rooms are available to individuals, community groups, organizations, and businesses for civic and educational events. Please read over the policies and application form. Community Room

This is the largest of our meeting rooms and mostly newly renovated. The room can accommodate up to 60 people and features a large projector screen and chalkboard on one wall.

Renovations in 2019 to our Community Room were made possible in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Keystone Communities Program. A special thanks to Representative Mark Rozzi and his office for their assistance in acquiring this grant.

Rental Fees per Hour

  • Nonprofit Base Fee - $10.00
  • Business/For Profit/Individual Base Fee - $15.00

Other fees that may apply.

  • A $25.00 cleaning fee will be charged for groups wishing to allow food and drink.
  • Replacement fees will be charged for damaged or missing equipment.

A 50% discount for non-profits scheduling for a reoccurring program that meets two or more times a month over a six (6) month period, if paid and reserved in one transaction.

Teen Room

This smaller room is available on a limited basis as the Teen Room houses our physical Teen Collection of materials. While staff may need access to both rooms throughout the day, they are more likely to require access to this room to obtain collection materials for the public.

This room can accommodate up to 30 people. A small mobile projection screen is provided for those who request projector use in this room.

Please submit all Meeting Room requests at least two (2) weeks in advance. Payment should be included with all requests. Meeting Rooms may not be used for solicitation by outside organizations for party caucuses, political campaign purposes, or as a mailing address or headquarters for any organization. Nor may they be used for any religious services or sales promotions.
